Bump back to the top...great thread. Anyone have a good link to a "how-to" pump rebuild thread? I could break the engine down to bare bones, but have never dealt with a jet pump before.

    thanks,
    Mike

            Hi All,
Does the open side of the bearing faces outward on both sides of the shaft?
What areas oh the shaft, bearings and spacer should be greased if any and how much?
            Thanks,
            Steve

is it possible to reinstall the driveshaft into the stator housing using the old bearings? I removed the driveshaft thinking I had to in order to remove the impeller. If so I would only need to replace the 2 seals correct?

Don't risk it, get new bearings. The shaft and your bearings will be spinning around 7200 rpm
