    The blank can now be glassed into place using the step in the foam as a support.

    Locate and clean the top nut.
    Using the 2ÔÇØ pipe as above, bore a hole downward at ~10* angle to reveal the lower nut.
    Remove the inserts.
    -the oem loctite is impressive!
    -I can not find a torque spec for the inserts/nuts??? {be02}

    Step 2

    Use the 3ÔÇØ pipe to bore a hole through the foam.
    Heat just the last 2ÔÇØ the end of the pipe with a torch. This will act as the blade.
    Press and twist the pipe into the center of the hole until it bottoms out on the hull.
    -bore straight forward to the bow.
    -after boring ~8ÔÇØ remove the core and reheat the pipe. {be01}

    Center the hole saw on the inner hull 3.4ÔÇØ above the step.
    -don't go deep. Just clear the SMC.
    -save the blank. {be07}

    Scrap pipe (one 3ÔÇØID and one 2ÔÇØID, thin wall at least 20ÔÇØ long) {be04}

    My lower boweye bolt broke in the insert.
    The replacement went so smoothly I'll post the process.

    This went smoothly because Mike (Addicted) did all the work!!!
