Kawa start/stop switch, ODI 'stub' grips, renthal bars, NO drilling. The kawa housing fits perfect/snug into the contour of the trim housing. The L shaped area where the cables come in, stop the trim from spinning. I also pulled the grips maybe 1/4" off the handlebars so the SS housing isn't on the handlebar elbow. I dont remember what the length and sweep of the bars are. I am short and they felt pretty comfortable mocked on.

Follow steach's link. What I did the first time around is what he did. I have to add that if you want to use the full length ODI grip and the QTS, you need to move the Start/Kill switch. I used a billet FLY racing kill switch for my start button, and a Polaris kill/stop switch. The start switch is mounted close to the finger throttle now, and the kill is in the center of the bars so that you can wear the lanyard on either wrist comfortably.

The only pictures I took I posted already. Sorry. As far as mounting bars, as long as you use a stock size aftermarket (not a fat bar like pro taper) you can use the stock bar clamps. The top of the steering pole has 4 threaded holes for support of the factory bar cover. I just used a hack saw and cut off the edges smooth with the edge of the bar clamps. The steering plate cover was made for me by another GH member. Saddly for everyone else, he had told me I was the last he was going to do. But if you are going to fab one on your own, mine is made of 1/8" thick plexi glass. It is cut in 2 pieces. ( and ) so when they are put together you see (). On the back there are 2 small square pieces for screwing the top pieces to. Just make sure that you leave some space for the throttle cable and the trim cables. Getting the plexiglass cut will be the toughest part.

I ended up getting a new left side grip and doing the double clamp. It was a great idea, but I don't need to adjust my trim that quickly that I cant just do it without the handle. And unless you are almost completely off the gas, you cant turn the handle anyway. I just had to move the trim in farther on the bars, and I put a different style kill switch and start switch on. You can see it better in the photos I already posted in my "for sale" thread.

the ODI grip with the plastic in it fits over the white tube on the oem trim with a little stretching.
no need to have the grip stationary and the trim trigger rotate
ill try and get some pics tomorrow
