      The electronics are from an 04 13r......

      What do you guys think? Hook up the PV motor and just disconnect the cables? Or do you think I could find a burned up PV motor and then use a resistor of some sort and the plug to fool it to thinking that it's there? Thoughts?

                what is the advantage of using these gas valves over the stock ones?
                2000 Yamaha GP1200R - D plate, Latest PVs, Wave-Eaters, Free flow exhaust, Solas 14/20 prop pitched to 13/19, R&D Intake grate, R&D Ride plate, R&D trim tabs, Wet-Wolf Adjust-a-thrust pump cone and shuttles, pump shoe sealed, stock airbox with front baffle removed

                  I installed these Riva Gas Valves last fall in my GP1200R with ProX pistons and stock Bore/Stroke. I used the boat for the first time in May. After about 15 hours of use, the number one jug's gas power valve barely touched the piston as you can see in the photo. What clearance should I leave the valves away from the piston? I was told that the Gas valves would not hit the piston like the stock valves or R and D valves? Click image for larger version
