yamaha GP1200 carburation problem

Increase popoff to around 50psi.....30 is too low. Also check that the needle arm lever is flat with the carb body. If it's sticking up too high the diaphragm rests on it, holding it open.

Thanks, I'll apply the advice, check that the height of the arm is flat, change the spring and put the popoff pressure at 50 psi and try again

Problem detected, it turns out that the needle seat hole did not correspond to the one indicated in the manual, the hole is much larger than specified, some previous owner changed this, thank you very much everyone for the help

The needle and seat was likely changed for performance reasons.

I will try to put the original needle and seat and see if they stop leaking
