So I dropped my bov fitting in the hull. And I've tried off and on for a week now to find it and have been unable. This isn't the first thing that's fallen down there, but it is the first object I haven't been able to fish out. Any tricks or ideas to get/find this brass fitting?

Thanks for the replies. My FX it has a rubber dampener of some kind that fills the void between the motor mounts. So I’d have to hit it with water from the side. Luckily I was finally able to get an angle with my flexible grabber and slapped the fitting to the back of the engine like a hockey puck. Lol. All is well now.
