Looking for black rubber insert on side rails "inner gunwale" for '22 GP SVHO

Good morning folks, I'm looking to replace the titan grey rubber piece on the gunwale down the side of my '22 GP with a black one like the '23 GPs.

BLUF: What other models (VX/EX/FX) rubber inner sidewall pieces fit into the channel of the 2021+ GP's? Black inner piece is unavailable online to even backorder.

Background: The new 2023's have this in black, as well as 2021 GP HO (red/white).

Partzilla, boats.net, GH, etc all say the 2023 part #12 (F4P-U2519-50-00, INNER GUNWALE) is 'unavailable,' can't even order it.

And for the 2021 GP HO, all the sites only sell the grey 'inner sidewall' for the 2021 GP HO that came on the black/red/grey model.

I spoke with the folks on partzilla and they confirmed they have no idea when it will be available to even order.

Does any other Yamaha model's bumpers slide into this channel? I'm sure it's generic across Yamaha, but not sure about length of the rubber piece between models. Is this something I can just purchase online at a Marine store maybe? Thanks

Circa 2018 I posted about swapping 'plastic' parts across various Yamaha model and years.

If the width profile of the side rail bumper insert has not changed then you can choose from any year and model VXR, GP1800 or FX, I would expect. In my case some of the alternate color rub rail inserts was longer so I just cut them to length.

I also posted where to find the official Yamaha photo library where you can see most of the factory color combos for each year and model.

Thanks, have that Flickr account bookmarked from a previous post I found of yours, how I figured out the ‘23 had black but no one actually sells them.

They should be a standard width (I guess), which model did you order for your GP? Longer works, just don’t want to end up with something too short (suspect FX might be since the corner bumpers are much longer on mine and not sure how much it covers up the rubber).
