Good Test Ride - 188 Miles

On Sat I did a 188 mile ride to test the mods I had done;
Blow-off,,air intake,,DIY exh,,Fx wiring (for cruise),,Fx ecu(for cruise and tune),,Vx intake grate (same as 2017-18 Gp1800)...
Did Perfect
Cruise was the best add-on of any ski ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
DIY exh drone was not too bad...
The old intake grate (with out wings) probably cost me 2-4 mph but it was worth not having the rumble strip feeling and the glide when you let off the gas as opposed to the 2020 gp stock intake hits the breaks and kinda tries to pitch over the bars..
My other riding buddies started way north of me and finished way north of me - so they ended up at 256 miles for the day..

I used a 2018 Fx ecu and wiring harness on my 2020 Gp.
You need the ecu, wiring harness and the up/down-noWake buttons..
More expensive then when I added trim to the Vx Ho 1.8 But way easier ..

3 fuel stops Sunshine Key stop 1- Key West Harbour stop 2 - Back to Sunshine key stop 3..
on the water at 9 am off the water at 6 pm
My group started at 8am 30 miles north , they headed south and I joined the group ,, then on the way back I pull into my house and they went back north another 30 mile to total 256 for them,, They were at ramp at 8pm,,
We actually had 3 groups of South Florida Riders running around the Keys ,, we met up on 2 different islands at 2 different times..- About 35 members altogether...
mostly 52-72 mph But with lots of stops for drinks, joints, photos and a bunch of margrove island trails

I got the same ski same year
it can be 2016-2018 Fx stuff But after 2018 wiring switches a little bit with new fancy display and no more receiver box for the remote fob

Hahhaha NO I stand 98% of the time..
My whole body is sore tho..
Its funny 15 years ago I would be sore the day after - Now I get sore 2 days after -I guess getting old even slows down the onset of pain...

Ha! Funny, I don't get as sore as I used to years ago. But now most of my riding is just cruising.
