18psi with boost leak and 30deg timing.
Boost leak wasn't located until I stripped everything down to go turbo. Ended up changing everything from the wheel to piping to BOV to intercooler and at the end it was the vacuum block where it connected to the MAP sensor.
Thankfully I found it or else I would've had the same problem with the turbo setup. I'm now waiting on the engine to arrive so I can start testing again. Currently using a block and head that was laying around to get a head start on fabricating the turbo kit.Comment

I think the crankshaft is the main component needed to change the stroke in an engine. The 2.0L stroker kit is a custom kit that a buddy of mine came up with and he's building the motor. My motor will be 87mm (bore) x 84mm (stroke) and 9.5:1 compression so should help spool the turbo up nicely and have power right through to 9500-9800rpm. The turbo (GTX3076R) may reach max efficiency at 27psi so will try to keep it between that and 25psi for high boost setting.2010 FZR - Turbo build loading...

I didnt mean any issues from the lake water, just the cold water having a straight shot to the turbo. Our lake swings from 85 in the summer to 45 in the winter.2018 GP1800 Custom Turbo setup, HO cams, Supertech valvetrain, Fizzle Y1000, 3.5" thru hull exhaust. Tuned by Jesus @ Riva RacingComment

I ride when water is 65-85 & the water feeds the turbo center section. The whole turbo stays so close it's not a dramatic drop.2016 FZ, Custom turbo design, Borg Warner EFR 6758 W/V-band .85ar, Still dialing set up in...20lbs of boost, 9240 RPMs @ 94mph (in Alabama Heat with tools, fuel, full cooler, & 245Lb rider).

Yerah, but yours is heated a little by the up pipe. Dont know if it would make any difference at all, I just run very cautious after the head cracked, that sucked lol.2018 GP1800 Custom Turbo setup, HO cams, Supertech valvetrain, Fizzle Y1000, 3.5" thru hull exhaust. I worry about head... I try & idle for 2-3 min before shutting it off just incase it helps regulate it or cool to a point.2016 FZ, Custom turbo design, Borg Warner EFR 6758 W/V-band .85ar, Still dialing set up in...20lbs of boost, 9240 RPMs @ 94mph (in Alabama Heat with tools, fuel, full cooler, & 245Lb rider).

Ive been doing that too. Always let it fully warm up and let it cool. Dont know if it makes a difference, or if some heads just crack and there is nothing you can do.2018 GP1800 Custom Turbo setup, HO cams, Supertech valvetrain, Fizzle Y1000, 3.5" thru hull exhaust. Yes sir, understood your concerns. No issue with cold water entering the center section. Seven seasons on my EFR 67/58 and counting, and at times in 50*F (+/- water).2013 RXT-X260 - GRF BorgWarner EFR 67/58 Turbo/MoTeC M130 (engine is dead, something new soon)

Got some work to do [emoji373]
It isn't a direct bolt-on but utilizes the factory harness. Gonna make an adapter flange/plate and go from there❗️
Expecting some lag but won't know if it's major until I start testing and comparing to the VXR throttle body. With the 2.0L stroker kit and higher compression/bigger bore, I don't expect anything less than some hard pulls straight to 9800-10,000rpm❗️

Prepped and ready! [emoji41]
Got the adapter for TB fabricated, aligned and drilled/tapped this week (don't mind the squared ends on the flange - will ÔÇØprettyÔÇØ it up when everything is fitted and done).
Will start the up-pipe tomorrow and get the turbo mounted in place and will the get started on the intercooler piping (hot side) after. Will post the progress after the weekend! [emoji482]
