Thats todays newspaper, I placed it there so there is no doubt when the pic was taken.

Ive attached a pic of the other side of the tow hooks reinforcing.

The seven 400gram carbon fibre layers go from big to small, the 10mm aluminium plate is stuck on with 5200.

I need to go through all my pics of my build, theres about 10000 of them.

Did anyone notice my custom steel spring loaded tiedowns ?

Are those chrome "intakes" on the sides of the towhook for show then? Or are you talking about different intakes? looks good..BTW

                  Hmmmmm...???

                  Hey Spaceman...

ONLY in Africa can a man marry a jet-ski..!!!

Or a zebra.. hell maybe even a Rhino..

I know some of your Yankee cousins have married Rhino's.. (oh and NOT necessarily the forum members..!!)

By Rhino i of course mean BIG Girls..!!!

NOW then i like your custom air intake.. very nice apart from the fact.......

Well.... won't it let serious amounts of water in when wave-jumping..???

I had a very similar idea recently..
But thought about using solenoid operated flaps behind the intakes..
That could be triggered to open at anything over idle speed..??
That way the motor gets the extra air when required..???

But no water intrusion on landing wave-jumps and they'd be shut should the ski flip..?!!

Good luck with the relationship there..
I now pronounce you MAN & SKI..

                  Gerry

They are chrome vents on the sides of the tow hooks. the actual vent hole is 30mm.

i have slightly larger ones on my speed boat. (45mm) From the way they are designed there is very little chance of water getting into the hull from wave jumping and/or rolling the ski.

I had the same vents on my seadoo GTX, which did over 500 hours of wave jumping. Never had a problem.

They also dry/airout the hull, so it doesnt go damp/mouldy. (ie. with them you dont need to leave the seat off).

Very nice. An excuse to add more chrome to a hull is aways a good Idea to me.

The posts are optional, everything else is mandatory. I technically should also have a reflective chevron board at the back aswell.

The reflextive tape is darn expensive almost us$10 per meter, every truck and trailer is required to have it running the full length. (the tape is sold by the government.)
