  • 2001 Gp1200r Waverunner - Need advise for Haul Maintenance

When attempting to clean the bolt holes for the install of the new motor mounts I blew air into the bolt hole on the the right and water came out of the bolt hole on the left. It seems on that side of the waverunner under both motor mounts there is water trapped inside the fiberglass rail. For reference this waverunner hasn't touched water for years with the exception of me washing the inside back in November of last year. I left the waveunner inside my garage and checked it yesterday (5 months later ) and still water spits out when I shoot air into the bolt hole, also the right side has no water blowing out of it and never did. No winter scenario I live in Florida

What does this mean and what should I do ?

Don't blow air in, suck the water out. Plug one hole and suction out the other.

Ty for the advise I will . But my concern is do I have possible water getting in from the outside of the waverunner due to a fracture of some kind in the fiberglass around the bottom area? If so how do I identify that? Or should I just suck out the water not worry about it ?

I'd get it as dry as I could, then not worry about it. The hull is pretty strong. If you had a crack allowing water to enter, when you were washing it out, you would've noticed it.
You must've really loaded it up with water, filling up the mounting holes or something.
