Free flow exhaust has a terrible drone. Waterbox will just make it worse. Best solution is rear exhaust. No drone and sounds 100x better.Save money on your pwc performance parts! For those wondering why a Turbo makes so much power on less boost; efficiency. A supercharger simply climbs in boost with RPM's while a turbo will spool up to a target boost range, say 15PSI, and hold it from spool, on these 1.8 engines you can EASILY have 15PSI by 4000-4500 RPMS and then it holds 15 PSI to the 8000+ RPM's, a Super charger cannot do that, it has to climb it's boost in lock step with the RPM's. The power under the curve is increased dramatically. Turbo's rule.
while you are spooling up with your turbo the SC boat will be at the finish line

How long is the race, ten feet? Maybe, you have to understand that it isn't RPM's that spool a turbo, it's load. The more load on an engine the faster the turbo spools. Go rev a turbo car in neutral, you'll struggle to make any boost.

Here's a pic of the whole ski the day i got it home

How did you rig the red handle Valve on your gas container hoses ? Is that a 3/4 inch PVC valve ?
Please advise - I am tired of people spilling gas on my ski

Removing cowling foam.

Hey Guys,
Can anyone walk me through how exactly to take the cowlings off? I don't want to break anything. Does the whole side panel of the ski come off first, or just the black cowling? didn't see any accessible bolts in there.. After reading though 67 pages of this thread, I gave up. Any help would be great
Thanks ,
