@waterwoody tried to PM/ message you on your profile and couldn't so I want to reach out to you on here.
Just read your "1512cc triple piped stroker BB EFI build THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!" thread skimming through the reflash which ended sort of vague with 2 of your triple pipes losing pressure and then ultimately 2 stroke engine failure.
What is your opinion about a mildly modified 2 stroke stock bore ski and reflash?
Is this company B.S.ing: "https://ecunleashed.com/product-category/watercraft-3/yamaha-watercraft/gp1300r/" Is the "bill gentleman" that reflashed your ecu still around? (The price seems very expensive and skeptical cause the website looks shady).
What difference in performance did you notice after installing reflash was it only engine failure or did it actually run faster?
Is there a big or noticeable difference in acceleration and speed in comparison to reliability from stock gp1300r to fully built top speed run type of ski? Whats the cost to benefit of making it faster?
How long did your engine last in total on the EFI ski after the reflash?
Do you think a stock engine bore with timing advance key and basic components and reflash w/stock pipe have lasted you longer vs BB and reflash?
Would a SSGP800 Grate R&D ride plate and the other peripheral components be worth the investment in regards to speed and "bang for buck"?
How did the 2 stroke efi get destroyed was it running too much fuel pressure or too rich?
If you would go back and do it over again would you say to Stockish or Fully Built for speed?
Check out my build thread http://www.greenhulk.net/showthread.php?t=255281
Any thoughts or pointers? I would like to remain EFI I am not fond of carb (not to mention the difficulty of finding a good set these days).
Just looking for some inspiration and direction from someone who has "been there and done that" so-to-speak. Thanks man.Leave a comment:

2000 GPR riva heads, factory triple pipes (10 hrs. Since built) 81.7 mph
2006 GPR 1390cc R&D heads, factory triple pipes, Kerry performance built ski - 87.5 mph
About to build a third GPR triple so may entertain offers on selling "one"Leave a comment:

Yea, remember I bought it from someone else who put a lot of time and money in this ski. I got lucky.Leave a comment:

That's fast for bolt on stuff, I do like my rxp but I have less than $6k total in my gpr that ran 87mph...that's hard to beat.Leave a comment:

The bolt on record for an RXP-X was about 85mph with the stock charger on greenhulk.
With a BIG SC upgrade I would think 90+mph should be capable.Leave a comment:

I will say The guy that owned it before me put a lot of money and time into the ski, kerry performance does wonders with these things. I have had GPR's for many years, but this thing is fast. Before I bought it the guy told me it would run close to 90mph I took it with a grain of salt. But as soon as I got in the water I knew it was different than any two-stroke id ever rode.....Think about it, how much money would it take to make a four stroke do that??👍 1Leave a comment:

Wow that is fast. I need to get my 2000 GP 1200 R running after what you said. I also have a 2014 RXP – X. Although the GP 1200 R is stock I hope it's as exciting as the one you just went 87 mph on LOL.Leave a comment:

I just bought two GPR 1390cc triple pipe ski's, one is a '06 Kerry built ski "007". Has been sitting in a shop for 2 years and first trip out ran a 87.5 mph pass. Needless to say I was very impressed!!....other ski is a '00 triple stage 3 riva runs 84 mph still tuning....I own a 2012 rxp, but I have to say there's something about these triple pipe 2-stokes....I find myself riding them more than my rxp.👍 1Leave a comment:

Maybe not 85...but 80 or 81 given the right conditions. To hit 85 I would need race gas compression, or triples...or bored out to 1490 which requires new sleeves. Lowell (who sold me the motor) told me that I could do 80...so I'll still shoot for that. Single pipe GPRs hitting above 80 are pretty rare. There are a few on here but they've got a ton of work done, even more than mine.
Another thing on hulls. My ski, when engine stock, did 65 mph. The mods were: pump seal kit, 13/19 prop, R&D top loader intake grate, and a Jims ride plate.
My brother bought a 2001 GPR and had similar mods, only he had the heads cut to increase compression. He got 71 MPH. Virtually the same ski except his head mod, and he did over 70.
There is something to be said about hulls. I've checked mine and its fine, but I guess it isn't as good as my brother's old ski.
But out there variables exist. Humidity, water temp, etc. My best run ever was 77.8mph in the spring (cool temps, cold water).
Time to tune the hull!!Leave a comment:
