Change the spark plugs and fill it up with new gas. If after running it down and refueling you still feel the lag, check the plugs and report before you snatch the carbs off.'13 RXT

You can do a regular 3/8ths fuel filter it just won't fit in the little rubber thing that holds it upComment

Had the exact same problem with a GP800R and it's an easy fix. Pull the fuel pickup from the gas tank. At the bottom of the tube is a plastic trap door. It's made of thin plastic and warps easily. This prevents it from opening completely, which restricts fuel flow and causes the bogging. Just remove the trap door and your problem will be solved.
Don't just take my word for it... do some searching and you'll find it's a pretty common problem.👍 1Comment

Looks like it was already pulled from your ski (or it broke off when you pulled the fuel pickup). There should have been a plastic end cap on the tube (held on by that screw that doesn't seem to serve any other purpose). The plastic piece attached to that screw was part of the end cap. The end cap has a screen and the trap door.
Here's a post with some good pics:
The symptoms you describe are exactly the same as those of the trap door problem. Basically, it's caused by a restriction in the fuel flow that usually shows up when you nail the throttle from a standstill. The ski works fine otherwise.
If the end cap broke off when you pulled the pickup, you probably just fixed your problem. If not, your screen is missing, which means your pickup would suck up any debris from the bottom of the tank. I'd look for a fuel restriction further down the line. While you have the fuel pickup out, check for any sort of obstruction.Comment
