i bin searching all morning for info on the difference between jims r@d ff plate and his riva as i am wanting to get a plate but could not find any info on these . could some one steer me in the right direction please.

carl @ island racing does a great job on modding the gpr plates as well. he has many options/levels you can choose from. the new style of plates are the same plate along with the grates. do you like black or shot peened look.

155 150 comp. 3 degree key. rosses tbs. leos holeshot kit. stealth holeshot h20 routing.vf3s. 13 20concord.sb. worx intake that i am gonna mod.battery mounted on hull bottom . some other small stuff . bars air mods

you can step your sponsons for speed, free air mods, shim trim tabs, true hull...all things that cost nothing but time to get free speed

ya i trying to getter going faster sponsons are stepped .i think i gonna wait to do trim tabs till i get a plate and put grate on. and see how it goes. i got a ss grate that i havent tried yet either. i gonna do some testing with the stuff i got first.

Hello Don stepping your sponsons does not give you speed you actually lose a little, everyone steps them to have better handling and you need it the faster you go.

Shimming trim tabs is for handling not speed. Taking shims out gives you speed but takes away handling.
