most likely your crank is toast and if you put it back together and a bearing goes your gonna take out the cylinders and possibly the cases. cut your losses and break the whole thing down and rebuild. Drying and oiling at this point is useless!

What little I know about these suckers always comes back to the crank.Gotta be in good shape or the results are devastating.Maybe Crankworks can salvage it with a cleaning and you can clean up the rest? I don't think there's a real cheap way(under $400) to keep your ski reliable...my opinion.I'm sure there are others here who know much better.Good luck.Comment

I would agree with these guys - that crank has had water sitting on it for months - might last 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 rides. Who knows.Been a long road - note the brand trend here?
