And also premixing fuel 40.1. Not sure if you guys have owned 03 PV model or not, but is it normal for the PV s not to work evenly over all 3 cylinders? as in PV 1 will be open abit more than PV2, and same on 3? those little plastic clips in between the pots seem to be where the freeplay is. Not sure if this is anything to worry about or fix.....

Also, if the power valves are cycling, but are still but are still gunking up with grey crap, would that indicate to possibly bad pickup coils?

My 04 I switched to the Riva gas power valves back in 06, I can't recall how the cable ones cycled but I do remember when I first installed the gas valves I didn't have the adjustment tight enough and it was Real Boggy then would kick in. Once I got the adjustment dialed in it was back responsive again, I normally clean the valves about ever 60 hours I have ran Pennzoil oil two stroke Marine oil for the last 15 years in the 04 and in my 07 npv with no issues, but when I clean the valves it's black not grey, I wonder if You may have some water intrusion?

WaveEater makes black delrin connectors that are rigid and make sure the PV’s all open together. The factory connectors are shit mush.

Hi John's truck thanks for the info. i bought new thingers thinking they were worn but no better. So i squeezed the steel together abit so they are tighter and all now open at same time. Now i have an issue with water in the middle cylinder! Am pissed, i rebuilt the whole thing to spec. Am wondering if could be the much bigger jet unit/pump i have putting too much water pressure in there?? Engine never seems to get warm enough to perform. How much water psi can they handle before water can get into the cylinders like that? Man i hope i dont have to tear engine back down. Hopefully can just put a pressure relief valve in?
