Help identifying what model intake grate

Recently purchased a r&d intake grate used off here for a gp1300r. I believe it's an older, probably discontinued model, but when comparing it to pics of other r&d intake grates I can't seem to find one that's the same. So your expertise is needed here....if you happen to know what I bought please let me know, and I ride primarily in decent chop (bay) so if this intake grate is going to make it ride even worse in chop let me know so I don't even install it

I had a feeling the wings were trimmed....what do you think? Is it still okay to run in chop? Ski is stock otherwise

Why would you trim the wings? Is it a fitment issue on a GP1300R or some type of performance gain?

I believe they were trimmed for more speed....

Ive read about the trimmed 1200 grates, but could never really find a thread on them... even using the advanced search function. From what I can recall (CRS) it’s supposed be be a touch faster than a stock 1200 grate.

This is the grate I picked up, you can see the difference.

That is an 800 grate. Its up to 1mph faster than the 1200. You'll also get some additional cavitation on hook up over the 1200. So it's a trade off

So the grate we acquired is for an 800?

You think it's going to be better or worse than the stock grate? I ride in a lot of chop, sometimes 2-3' swells. I was hoping this would make the ski more planted however I'm not sure how much of a difference the trimmed tabs will make. Also, there's a lot of seaweed by me, like yesterday I had to stop in the bay 3 times to clear my grate out. Do you think the 1200 grate will be better or worse with picking up debris? I plan on pulling the ski out this week so I'm trying to get all the necessary information on this grate before I put it on and regret it

The lake we ride on has seaweed and a tight chop... like 1-2 foot chop. I have ripped over the tops with no loading and unloading and people were just staring. The ski pulled hard.... it was a blast.
