  • Which model R&D plate/grate is this ?

I just got a used plate/grate setup for my GPR12

Is this the new 1200 R&D plate ? or the old one ? and which grate is this ?

    Thanks

Those wings are cut down on the back side SMW. Is that what Hop tested?

So, what were the results of the testing on the grate ? I haven't mounted yet.

Also ,what changed on the R&D plate in 2003 that made it better ? can it be accomplished with a bridgeport ?

          thanks

Form what I hear most people prefer the old style plate.

I would'nt want that grate on my ski, but it could be the best thing going and I wouldn't know it.

              Thanks,
Ive ridden standups for 19 years. Just picked up a GPR for the wide to ride and to play with. Basically after a few years of reading posts and listening to the Superstock GPR's I knew I needed one. I would of rather gone 4-stroke.. but for a few grand a like new GPR is fine.

I will buy the 4-stroke standup next year if Yamaha does it.

I will try to test this grate. I have a couple like this I like for racing my SXR. they hook good in turns.

maybe it was the speeds hop was running that made it dangerous.

My ski has a Riva rideplate that looks identical to the one you have on the picture.
