            D plate Riva ?
free flow will slow you down on top end a little
800 grate only good for flat water
R&D Plate machined to 5% don't know what this means ?
2 washers on front how thick and whats the plate angle ?

            live in S.Florida
I run on the ocean 1-2 shop and lake flat
note: these ball park figures are based on the current mods and rider size
-1-2' chop you need a 1200 grate and start the plate about .950-.920" w/ .050-.070" under the stock tabs
-flat water 800 grate and you can run more angle start 1.0-.950" and tabs flat to the hull
-note: if you ride superman, you may need to drop the tabs an additional .030-.050"

I ran the lake today 72.5 gps good speed for the mods you have

need help on my set up to get to 78 or 80 to get those speeds you will need a HO pump, Dynafly, reeds, keyway, and porting with everything that goes with those mods... and time spent at the water finding the correct prop pitch and handling set-up
-do a search on how the measure the ride plate angle
-you will need to grind the pump and nozzle, and the plate needs to be machined for pump clearance to get maximum angle
-do your adjustments with the 800 grate in flat water first... get as much angle as possible and ride the boat WOT to feel if it porpoises, if it does lower the rear of the plate a little at a time till the porpoise goes away. If you ride superman, you will need more under the tabs to keep porpoising under control
-when you add engine mods, you will have to start all over again with adjustments... figure for every 100-150 rpms and 1.5-2.0 mph you gain with mods, you will have to re-pitch the prop and re-adjust the handling

This is just an example of how much comes into play when tuning a a set-up for max speeds.
Do the research here on the forum... all the info is here in different places.
