Cat Removal Help

I Have just placed an order for D-Plate and sensor for my 2003 1200XLT,This will be the ski's first mod,

Is this a straight forward job to carry out, will I have to adjust the carbs or anything else.

It is pretty straight forward but are you absolutely sure that it isn't already in?I thought the cat was introduced on the 03 efi in Uk,i may be wrong but it is worth checking.Can you see the cat temp sensor wire?Post some pics of your ski.
