  • 2012 Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO Electrical Help???

All right, I did the dumbest thing I have ever done, and the only time I have ever done anything like this.... I got my 2012 FX Cruiser SHO out to be de-winterized. Like an idiot, I switched the negative and positive cables going to the battery.... Never really sparked or anything, but I caught it after I had no power, so I switched the cables to their right terminals but the ski is completely dead and the battery has been on the battery tender and is fully charged as I checked it with my multimeter. Something tells me I blew a fuse, so where are the fuses, and how is the easiest way to replace them?

Right behind the engine is a plastic box with the fuse panel inside. Remove the cover to the box and you'll see what resembles a gas cap on the starboard side of the box, take the cap off and you'll have access to the fuses and you should have a puller in there as well.

Thanks guys, I panicked when I made this post and then I actually looked in the manual and saw where the fuses are. Took like 5 minutes to fix and the ski is good to go for the season as I did blow the 30a fuse in it!!!
