Add anything and if won't be fine.....that works for now but if you add boost gauge, fuel pressure regulator You shoulden' t be sharing the map sensor source like that For the future.....it will be fine like that for just a bov
the R&D take off is an inline 3 way Tee piece for post 2011 SHO and SVHO which they say can run the BOV and vacuum gauge and fuel flow regulator , so which line is that installed in ? have a BOV kit coming next couple of weeks . 2011+ R&D Multi-Pressure Port Boost Gauge/Surge/RRFPR Adaptor Kit
The R&D Yamaha SVHO-FX Multi-Pressure Port Adaptor Kit will allow quick and easy hook up of a manual boost gauge, surge valve, and a raising rate fuel pressure regulator. The R&D Pressure Port Adaptor installs in the MAP sensor hose and has 3 ports that allow for the operation of a vacuum/boost gauge, check plenum air temperatures, operate a surge protection valve, and operate a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator (RRFRP), or any three of these applications at the same time with one simple part. The R&D Pressure Port Adaptor Kit comes complete with 12” of vacuum hose, multi-line fitting, 2 tube covers, nylon cable ties and instructions.
Ha ha I have the same piece its not good to rob the map reference I won't do it it don't mean it won't work just think it will affect map readings with 3 things sharing one source
When ever you remove the manifold for a ribbon delete go ahead and drill/tap for a 1/8 port. Takes no time and imo far better then sharing line with the.map sensor.
