you can add all the timing you want and e85 won't knock so doesnt surprise me it's so low. it'll loose power, beat up rod bearings etc but typically doesnt make noise.... from what i gather his timing numbers are very conservative, mine are a bit less but for pump gas safety. that big ski's flying, congrats!!

New best speed record on my Silver FX

96.4 MPH!

Lowered the boost to 28LBS. I made three passes back to back 96+ MPH. Lake Water temps must have been a little bit cooler.

This is a brand new engine I built in my shop last month. The usual Rods, low comp Pistons, Valves, Springs with a new EFR 7163...

There is another FX in FL that touches triple digits but compression and boost is a bit higher.At those rpm and boost with low comp that is a really,really stout number congrats

I'm happy with the fact that I'm getting over a mile an hour for every 100 RPMS.

98 MPH at just 9,500 RPMS for a BIG FX isn't bad at all. FULL Tank of Fuel...

I'm not done yet.... Baby steeps....
