What sized AR housing? If one is .85, I'm interested.

2013 Silver FF-HO as well as my 2014 FX-SVHO in original form that is.

I'm building two very similar setups.

The black one is running on AVGAS and the silver one will be running on E90.

    Here's a preview of what's to come!

The best I could get the ski to run with the 57 mm BorgWarner was 99 mph at 9,600 rpms just a little over a year ago.

having said that. This results didn’t come without growing pain. It was a super steep uphill battle dealing with new issues each time I’d push the limits.

Here are some of the things that failed.

Driveline coupler. Stripped. Went with a billet setup.
Oil pump gear slipped off shaft. Pinned the gear to the shaft.
Blew a Rod on cylinder #2 due to oil starvation during heavy acceleration.
Trashed a brand new block from spinning main bearings.
Stripped the flywheel key. Pinned the flywheel to crank.
Stripped left side rear motor mount. Went with a billet setup.
Cracked a head during a race.
Cracked a second head after just a couple of hours of being installed.
Cracked a third head when trying a nitrous setup for the first time.

The final nail in the coffin was a catastrophic engine failure during a race. The engine disintegrated when it hit the rev limiter as it sucked the carpet from one of the bunks from the launch pad.

That’s when I threw the towel.

here are some pictures of the final setup and carnage.

    Enjoy 
good grief you had a full R&D project going on!! Thanks for the follow up i always wondered what happened

    Hey what’s up!!!!!!

Haven’t been here in a while!

    I’ve got much to update.

The ski’s final setup broke 99 MPH barrier all day no problem. At 9,600 rpms.

I’ll post pictures of gps runs.

super quick off the line an absolute rocket ship

Went on to better more exiting things! I’ve got to seat down on front of my computer so that I can post pictures of the journey.

What I can say is that’s been lots of fun!!!
