  • FX-SVHO TURBO Project

I have been wanting to do this project for a very long time and finally decided to do it thanks to great support from Jerry and Evan!!!

    I am installing a Borg Warner 6758 on my 2013 FX-HO!!!

I am planing on boosting 8 LBS and I will be using VTech's new Programmer to tune my set up. I wanted to build as close to a drop in of a setup as possible so I am planing on keeping my water box for now. I have a lot of work ahead but wanted to share these pictures of my own SS Turbo bracket I finished last night!!!

I will have a short "J" water jacketed up pipe to Turbo and another short dump pipe downward towards the water box...

    Crazy cool Julio!!

I was really hoping Evan would come up with a Yamaha Turbo setup. It will be great to have another option for a clutch free dependable ski. Look forward to seeing it all come together for you...

Thank you Julio for helping me get something together!
This will be a very nice recreational setup! I really like the idea that if you really want to you can use bone stock exhaust.

Looking forward to dive into Yamaha!
            go turbo or go home!

I will be doing TI Springs and Retainers. It will be a high comp 8LBS Boost for now...

This is a EFR Borg Warner...

Hi Julio , very nice project !

But you install this turbo with your HO pistons ( more compression on the atmosph?®ric 4stroke ) ?

                            Update.

Just got word from my fabricator. He's got everything mocked up and is ready to start working on the "J" pipe as well as the dump pipe, Julio...

                              Travelling along nicely Julio.
There's so many ways to skin this cat when it comes to turbo yamaha's
I originally was going to run the turbo straight under the exhaust manifold and run exhaust straight back to a waterbox, then changed my mind again.

Yours is looking nice and simple so far. The less complicated the better!
