  • 15 fzs hesitation when bov closes

I'm having this odd problem. When I'm cruising under 5000 rpm (Tial bov open) then punch the throttle or ease the throttle on (bov closes) the engine hesitates and sputters then takes off like it should. The problem seemed to just start to happen in the summer heat. Afr between 11.6 and 12 through out the rpm range.

I'm still reaching 8400rpm and 80mph like I always have.

It could be bad fuel too.

I haven't tried new plugs. I will try that. It's not bad gas, I've tried many different stations plus the gas is manufactured in town

With the TiAl, the line has to be 1/4" but also rigid enough not to collapse under vacuum. That can cause issues like yours.

I will look into that. I just used the barb fitting and hose that Fizzle supplied with the intercooler. I would assume that would be good? Thanks

bypass the BOV and see if the issue goes away

So that would mean I'd have to pressurize the reference line and plug it?

Well I could but that would mean pulling the intake off and removing the fizzle then installing the oem intercooler.

Just crimp the vacuum line that's it.

Wouldn't the bov open once boost is made after the spring pressure is overcome?

I think it will still operate under boost
