Was thrown off this weekend at about 75mph Deans stage 2 and ski flipped upside down. Drained the water out, pulled filter, and sucked out as much oil as I could approximately 3.75-4 quarts as it was milky. What other procedures must I do? Is there a plug at the bottom to get the rest out? Do I just go back to refilling with my amsoil and change it often? Thanks for any help.

Now that you've changed the oil, go ride it hard ASAP to evaporate any remaining water out of the oil.07 Lowell ported PV EFI GP1390R Built by GPR114, Tuned by Jim's Performance, Ross' Sonic Boom TB's...they rule!!!

Thanks for all the replies as I have been a lurker for years but never post. Let's just say my wife wasn't too excited when I told her what happened. I think I somehow just caught a wave when I was landing and don't remember much but bobbing in the water as I couldn't move my left arm and my head was pounding. Ski was about 30ft away upside down, for how long, maybe 10 minutes. I absolutely love the beast as the acceleration was incredible after deans tune. I drained the oil and it was milky so Jerry said to change it a few times until clear. I guess there is a plug in the bottom, probably a real pain to get at and will probably make a mess. Don't know how this water will affect the motors long term reliability.2016 fx svho, deans team stage 3 tune 9100 rpms, Jims plate mod, riva gen3 intercooler w/tial BOV, ribbon delete, 4 inch cai from storage compartment kanaflex, 13/18 solas, riva pro series cooling, riva intake grate, riva waterbox, riva retainers, ride plate holes filled, Leo's 2 degree pump wedge, billet throttle mount, rear through hull exhaust. If you rode it back that answers it. Keep ruining it up on hose and keep changing the oil until clear

No plug to drain anymore has to be extracted through dipstick only

No plug to drain. Got it. I started it when I got home and fired right up. One tough little motor. Will do 3 or 4 oil changes tonight on hose to get as much out as possible. Probably should just use some cheaper synthetic oil vs my 10w40 amsoil. Off to chiropractor tonight for a readjustment and scan.2016 fx svho, deans team stage 3 tune 9100 rpms, Jims plate mod, riva gen3 intercooler w/tial BOV, ribbon delete, 4 inch cai from storage compartment kanaflex, 13/18 solas, riva pro series cooling, riva intake grate, riva waterbox, riva retainers, ride plate holes filled, Leo's 2 degree pump wedge, billet throttle mount, rear through hull exhaust. Can't I run it at home on hose? I don't live near the river up here in Twin cities. I was going to just fill up with oil, run for two minutes, than suck it out again. Do that like 3-4 times2016 fx svho, deans team stage 3 tune 9100 rpms, Jims plate mod, riva gen3 intercooler w/tial BOV, ribbon delete, 4 inch cai from storage compartment kanaflex, 13/18 solas, riva pro series cooling, riva intake grate, riva waterbox, riva retainers, ride plate holes filled, Leo's 2 degree pump wedge, billet throttle mount, rear through hull exhaust. The oil filter will have water in it too, so I would change it as well or at least take it off and pour it out every time you change the oil.
BTW, I flipped mine once too but it was because I was getting a lot of water in the bilge from a leak, because I was pulling 2 big dudes on a tube and let the tow line get slack. The tube had swung out wide and when the slack popped out of the rope, it snatched us over sideways. The ski popped up right immediately afterward though. The wife was riding backward to watch the tow-ees as GA law requires. She refuses to be involved with towing anyone since it happened.Comment

Flush it out with Rotella it's cheap and change the filter for the first change and then before you switch back to Amsoil. Cheap insurance! Then i would fog the cylinders and then beat the hell out of it to make sure any extra moisture boils off. My concern would be water in the clutch, I would rev it up a little bit and let the clutch work to try to push the water out. You seem to have gotten lucky.Comment

5 oil changes and it was pretty clean. I did pull plugs at the end and two plugs near back did have a small bit of water on top of piston. Plugs came out dripping also which I am surprised as the engine idled very well through the oil changes. Think I should fog, dry plugs, then reinstall. Or just run it hard this weekend?2016 fx svho, deans team stage 3 tune 9100 rpms, Jims plate mod, riva gen3 intercooler w/tial BOV, ribbon delete, 4 inch cai from storage compartment kanaflex, 13/18 solas, riva pro series cooling, riva intake grate, riva waterbox, riva retainers, ride plate holes filled, Leo's 2 degree pump wedge, billet throttle mount, rear through hull exhaust.
