13 FZS SHO - Maximum RPMs decreasing after riding

Riva stage 1 ski with MaptunerX stage 1 tune:

I've noticed 3 days in a row when I start riding, at WOT, my RPMs hit 8K+. After I've been riding for awhile, my RPMs at WOT, will only max out around 7600-7700.

Does this sound heat related? Does the ECU throttle RPMS if it reaches a certain temperature threshold? (I'm not getting any alarms)

Your innercooler is too small for the power your are making. install a Fizzel innercooler Kit with seperate water feed problem solved. Tommy Jordan

Thanks for the suggestions, I will strongly consider adding the Fizzle IC and BOV early next year.

I installed a SVHO intercooler in my SHO and it made a difference, i also added an extra cooling line and plumbed the extra exit nozzle on the RHS so it flows like it would in an SVHO. being only stage 1 i wasn't keen on spending huge money on a Big aftermarket I/C and i'm happy with my set up.
The SHO I/C is way too small and any upgrade will deliver, especially if yours is flashed.
