  • Idle Stumbles

I have a new 16 VX Deluxe with about 15 hours on her now. I have noticed she does'nt like to idle on the trailer during a flush, I pump the throttle a couple times the idle will stumble to almost the point of stalling then catch itself. Is this Normal ??? I have no problems at all when in the water.

some models with the stock tune do this because they run rich. I wouldn't worry about it ...

Actually, I have an Air Fuel gauge on mine and it is a lean tip in. JesusG may be able to shed some light on it. The AF goes lean when you hit the throttle.

On a VX there really is no reason to run premium gas. Yamaha recommends regular 87 octane for your ski... just use that and save yourself a few bucks too.

Normal. Both of my 16 vx's do this. As a side note make sure u drain the seats after each ride or mold will show up FAST.
