I can understand that, one should get some improvement just going from the none-top loader intake currently on my ski (201 to a top loader. But would it be better to buy the 2019 oem intake and ride plate instead of just a Riva intake at this time. I understand the Riva intake is much stronger than the cast oem ones for faster skis, but I'm not hitting those higher speeds. I would love to have my ski set up like yours...just don't have that kind of budget right now. Also rebuilding a 2005 RXT-215 to get it back one the water. Where was your best gain? Guessing the tune.

I don't see why the 2019 oem wouldn't work out for you.

The updated OEM intake and plate will do you just fine. I didn't feel the need for the grate myself. Let us know how your VXR performs with them paired together.

Does anyone know if the bolt pattern of the GP1800 and VX is the same as a GP1200R for the scoop grate shoe combo? It looks very similar, looking for alternatives for the GP1200R / 1300 R Hull .
