2016 FX Cruiser 48 MPH Top Speed

I just purchased a 2016 FX Cruiser HO with 65 hrs. 1 owener with service records. I took it out this past weekend and it would no accelerate past 48 MPH. It runs smooth with no engine misses or funny noises. It's not in limp mode and the air filter is clean.

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

Is it a HO or a SHO?

Try the plugs, if not that it might be pump/impeller related. Plugs are cheap and easy to replace though.

What rpm are you getting?

not in learner mode is it???

Check the impeller clearance.......& condition of the impeller. If you are getting full RPM then this is most likely where your problem is.
Are you sure it is not in learner mode....that is about the speed you would be getting if it was.
