  • 2016 fx svho paint blistering

Did a winterizing and clean on my 2016 fx svho, and noticed this blistering in the footwells. Does anyone have this on their ski? no strong cleaners used. just spray nine.

Not worried about it, but just wanted to know what might have caused it. Never noticed it before although It might have been there since I got the ski.

    The blisters are hard.

this is from water sitting in the foot wells. All three of mine have the same issue. I'm going to try and install some sort of drain system over the winter.

Known Yamaha fix this under warranty (in the U.K. at least) it’s known as osmosis, if you have warranty speak to dealer.

You would have to touch up the paint if you sand it. Might be more trouble than it's worth. If it were mine I'd wait until it got worse before messing with it
