  • Tucker1,
What part of Lake Cumberland do you ride? I live in eastern KY area near pikeville but have been coming to that lake my whole life.. Trying to plan some friends to come up there to ride again soon! Great looking GP man!

    • FIRST RUN OF 2023 3/26/2023

Took the ski out today for the first run of the 2023 season and had a blast. The air temp at 75* and the water was a cool, crisp 48* thus making the ski run like crazy!!! With my current set up "which is listed in my bio" I ran GPS 86mph @ 8700rpm with 14lbs of boost. Full tank of 93 and 185lbs of rider/gear. With the water temp that cold there was no heat fade at all, 86mph all day long. I like my set up but more power would be great. More boost??? In summer it runs 8200rpm and speeds are slower. Thoughts?

Awesome! Next step is a supercharger upgrade, either Riva or Fizzle, Riva supercharger shaft upgrade, 1000cc injectors and Riva billet fuel rail. Then load up the MaptunerX stage 3 tune and hold on tight

Would running a 13/18 impeller not being your summer RPMs up and get you more speed?

I have a 13/18 and a lucky 13 cone in the basement. I might try it this summer but changing the impellers out are such a pain. In theory if I can just get more power with a 13/20 I should go faster than with a 13/18. Everyones about using a 13/18 to get your rpm's up for more speed but I'm over here thinking if I can make more power with a 13/20 I can get the same or better speeds. Keep in mind I'm talking about with summer temps. If I can turn my winter rpm's "8600-8700" in summer then I'd be golden. THOUGHTS..... 13/18 and lucky 13 to keep rpm's below 8700??? OR supercharger wheel upgrade and more fuel??? I sure don't want to turn more than 8700rpm like I am now in the cold water so idk. And yes I know, get retainers and go on. I'm just not ready to do that yet, I don't trust a shop around here and not comfortable tackling it myself so it may be a while.

            Advice always appreciated! Thanks
