    Debating of taking a few parts off my 09 FZS. Heard the older intake manifolds are stronger aka hold more boost?

    Plastic intake manifolds are the only way to go. They don't heat soak like the older aluminum manifolds.

      Only issue I've seen with the plastic imanifold is fuel injector connectors having issues with the pins breaking on the back cylinder. What's your reason for wanting to swap?

        just curious ...my 09 fzs is just chilling in garage didnt know if any older parts could swap over and if they were better or not

          The 09 lower exhaust manifold has the port you can do a better wideband location .
          2016 FZ, Custom turbo design, Borg Warner EFR 6758 W/V-band .85ar, Still dialing set up in...20lbs of boost, 9240 RPMs @ 94mph (in Alabama Heat with tools, fuel, full cooler, & 245Lb rider).
