2022 map card details

Would you please let me know where did you get it from and what's the part #? Here in Ca. not one Delear knows about any MAP-GPS card beside the limited comes with it..Called Yamaha and they told me it's a dealer item and give me the closest dealer phone#, Dealer and service mgr has no clue nothing in the system, asking me to give them a part # and they could order it for me................This is a joke lol I'm picking up my SVHO this Am. Should i just get a SEA-DOG? Is it worth it or just spend $500 on the nice fish-gps finder?

That's the site to order the maps from. They're more navigational maps than fishing/bottom contour maps.

In my opinion, this was really chicken sh#t of Yamaha to exclude this and make the owner buy this separately from the ski. It should've just come with the ski, every ski.

A fish finder with fishing maps would be more useful to me. It provides a second screen for you to use while you use the main screen on the WaveRunner.

That's what I ultimately ended up doing, mostly because I also wanted a depth finder. There is no good place to put one of the two inch round depth finder displays and by the time you do that and add the map card, it wasn't terribly more expensive (actually may be cheaper) just to get a Garmin.

I haven't used it a lot, but I like it. Created a secure mount in the cup holder for the quick release bracket and just snap it in and out as I want to use it. I don't know all of the functions of the factory maps, but would expect the Garmin probably even has more if I do decide to use it to that level. Mine is the Echomap 43cv.

if anybody no longer wants their USB Map drive, shoot me a message...I don't know if it will work for my specific lake application needs and therefor don't want to buy a new one only to find out its a complete waste for me...if somebody is frustrated with theirs to the point of just wanting to get some money back to get rid of it let me know...

I just recently got the map card for my FX. The depth markings and contours are there. You have to go into the map settings in the dash and enable them. The default setting is off. However, the problem I have is that all of the depths on my maps are shown in meters on the US/Canada card that I purchased, and there is no way to change it that i have found. I have been through every menu on the dash screen and nothing will change that.

Coincidentally, my map just stopped working all of a sudden. The map just don't load - it's just white.

I took out the USB and my computer read it fine.

It's like the cache on my ski needs clearing or something. The message saying where you can buy the map card is gone, so it knows I have the map card.
