2022 FX Cruiser HO - Where to Mount an In-Hull Transducer??

Yeah, I could certainly get it mounted externally, i just don't want to put holes in the ski. I don't really care about water temp most of the time and simply wanted the depth finder when running up in coves to have an idea of the depth.

If I was doing anything where I needed the temp I may have done that.

OMG. Heaven forbid you make a hole somewhere. Use a waterproof through hull fitting for the cable and do it in a manner that looks professional and there’s no problem making a hole. Seal it up well and it will never have an issue

Put as many holes in yours as you want. I don't need the water temp so see no need to put a hole in it.
