I may try it, but I have read reports that it didn't help the wet ride much.

I am looking to replace the plate on my 2021 FX and started looking into this. The Yamaha 2022 plate looks like it would raise the nose more than the riva plate. I also noticed that the HO models have a different part number than the SVHO models. Wondering which would be the best mod for my 2021 FX HO.

That's what I thought also. 22-23 ride plate was designed to get the nose out of the water better than the 2019-21. So in theory the 2022 and up should be faster.

I’m at sea level with a top speed of 72-73 and I haven’t heard of ANYONE with a 2022 FX SVHO, stage 1 plus going 79-80 including Green Hulk.

The ‘normal’ Stage 1 Plus tune provides less top speed.

    Close to sea level?

The Riva Stage 1 Plus tune for SVHO is excellent. Very noticeable increase in engine power and acceleration over the stock factory tune.
The AGR version of the Stage 1 Plus tune is even more so.

One SVHO friend always runs the AGR version of the tune. Another uses the regular version. I am often using the Low Octane version. The AGR is the fastest, but the regular Stage 1 Plus tune is far from being ‘useless’
Thank you for clarifying, i have most of the stage 1 plus hardwear sitting ready to go. Just wanted to confirm before purchase of tuning licience. We run at sea level in the salty liquid

Yes, it's absolutely the best plate for the FX. More info here

If you are running that complete stage 1 plus kit and have not omitted anything then you need to figure out why your speeds are lower. You should easily be going 79-80 mph with that kit and the ribbon delete. What's your speeds and RPM? It may just be that your impeller needs a slight tweak to get the RPM up in your hot climate. More info here, including a link to pitch your impeller for max rpm

    Hope that helps!
