      Hi all,
Here in Australia, just ran 22fx svho limited
Flat out dead stock standard 109kmph=67.7mph
When flat out you can ease back on throttle a fair bit and still hold 109kmph then squeeze it back to full throttle for no difference
ow id the speed limited excactly
      Thx Pep

So we got a little rough water testing today. To say the ski is transformed on a stage 1 plus is an understatement. I caught about a 100m of reasonable ocean and opened the taps. Holeshot is unreal and at 8k rpm i was seeing 73 and the ski still was pulling. Water conditions and my brain said lift and that was it. I feel its a 77 mph ski that for the ocean is more than ample. We will be uploading more videos on the stage 1plus process on youtube. And when we get a flat calm day a few speed runs will be conducted

Wildthing, I've been watching your videos. Keep it up! Please tell us what mods you have for stage 1 plus.

I have riva rideplate, riva sponsons. And ribbon delete with oil breather filter. This was at last test run (see above). Since have added riva cold air intake and stage 1 plus tune (map tuner) but haven't made a test run.

Hi david, i just was not buying into the you must have a riva plate nonsense, and shimmed the original plate with a 1mm stainless washer on the two bolts at the front of the plate that mates to the intake grate. I think this is what the ski really needs. You could notice the bow higher in the water and way less spray. Plus no porpoising at all.

Well ladies and gents the weather finally settled and some serious testing was undertaken at our local coastal resort. Ski 22 cruiser svho13degrees celcius and sea level. 275 pound rider, yes i am a big guy. stage one plus 8500 tune, 13/18 solas , tial bov, riva cai kit, pcv breather.
                  Please note:
                  standard ride plate shimmed
                  Standard sponsons.
No cooling kit our sea temps are low.
                  No ribbon delete.
                  Nose cone fitted on impeller

All tests carried out in middle seating position trim full up
                  Drum roll please!!!!
77mph constant with the odd flick to 78. To say i am pleased is an understatement. Solid as a rock no issues or porpoising. So there you go

I have all the same modifications. Everything from the Riva Stage 1+ kit and I also did the Tial BOV, Ribbon Delete, and did not add the nose cone to the impeller. Im 220lbs and got 79.0mph on GPS at neutral trim.

22 FX SVHO, Ribbon Delete, Riva Air Filter for Factory box, Riva Ride Plate with 1 Spacer, Stage 1+ tune, engine breather upgrade, Solas 13/18, Riva Sponsons, 295lb rider. 75 MPH with full tank and middle trim. At about 750' above sea level. Starts to bounce at any higher trim setting if just sitting normal on the ski. More than fast enough for me.

Just bought my 2023 FX cruiser and looking to the mods. Definitely seems the general consensus is the sponsons are a huge improvement, and seems a little debate on the ride plate, my plan is to try the riva plate. Gonna go stage 1+, use the fizzle BOV with turbosmart. My question is, I’ve not really seen too much talk about the intake grate. I’m mostly in chop for my riding (Detroit river) so would I get benefits from the riva grate?

the fx intake is pretty good, i ride ocean and chop and so far its not been an issue. I imagine the riva grate would hook better with maybe a detrimental 1mph loss on top end. Horses for courses i guess

How is speed limited on 22fx svho. Can limiter be removed without a tune. If ecu limited how will ride plate or any other mods increase speed. I run 109kph solo, 2 up, low fuel, full fuel. It hits 109 and I can ease of throttle and hold that speed.
                              Thx Pep
