The following picture shows the location of the speaker. You can see it just to the left of the cup holder and on the steering column. You can see the red wire just sticking out the top. The speaker faces down, so I just stuck a piece of foam to it. It quieted the piercing beep down a lot, but still audible.

This picture is on the throttle (right) side of the ski with the side panel removed. Easy access and easier than I thought.

Seems to be in a different spot to where it is on mine (see my images above)?

I plan to install a switch on my buzzer so I can turn it off when it decides to get annoying

@musubi & @svhooo - what years are your skis? I have a 22, and will be trying this soon/before the weather gets warm. I'm at work, so just looking at pictures of mine...That side panel, under the hood/mirror is pretty easy to get off? Again, from pictures only, I can't see any screws/bolts...Is it a retainer clip type of deal?

Mine is a 2022 FX HO. That panel is real easy to take off, either side. You need to remove a few bolts and make sure to slide the panel off, not pull. Just need to look where the panel is mounted to for the bolts.

To me it looks like the same location, but maybe yours is further back? Maybe you could take off the other side panel and see if it's more accessible. Right now, I have both panels off for the work I'm doing to my ski.
I didn't remove the speaker. I just stuck my hand in and stickied a small piece of hydro turf. Worked wonders.

That's another way to work it. Is it possible to install a device to control the volume?

Quick question (sorry I'm new to this): Why can't this be flashed? Is it not controlled by the ECU? Surely Deans Team/Riva has looked into this with all of the complaints???

@musubi Can you provide details of where you found the buzzer on eBay?

                  Thanks

I think the issue with the continuous beeping and the silencing of it can be programmed/flashed better. However, the issue with the system reading low fuel when it's not appears to be more of a hardware limitation. I would think you would need a longer arm to read more accurately throughout the tank full to empty range. But, bending the existing arm to at least read a more accurate "low fuel" would also be beneficial.

I didn't end up installing the speaker I bought since I was able to find my existing one and muffle it. If you want the speaker I bought, I'll send it to you if you cover shipping.

FOD-U8341-00-00 seems to be the predecessor part number to FIS-68341-00-00

Unclear when FIS-68341-00-00 became the factory production part number

I have a 2022 FX HO model. But let me plug it in on my end first to make sure it works as it should.
