          SpeedJunky,
I have an update from this weekend. Unfortunately, I am no longer coming close to 89.5mph that ran before. After tweaking the fuel pressure, I topped out at 84.1 mph. That was with a full tank of fuel and a little gear in the front compartment of the hull. The outside air temperature was 83 degrees. It does pull like a bat out of h*ll though.

You lower the fuel pressure ? What was the AFR reading?
            Need to know rpm also.
Lots to monitor and take note of when dialing it in.
Temps were warmer from your previous runs so that will affect it too.

Hope you get out again soon and find out more.
            Ride safe.

              SpeedJunky,
I do not remember what psi I adjusted the fuel preset to. However, the afr gauge is at 11.9. The dash read 9200rpm. I understand that there was full tank of fuel and about 11 degrees warmer, but 5mph loss seems like a lot.

                SpeedJunky,
It was determined that the decline ion performance was due to a bad clutch. It continued to get incrementally worse after each ride. I have heard several horror stories after installing the new Yamaha clutch. Some people have gotten less that 20 hours out of them. So instead of blowing close to $900 by having a new clutch installed, and not knowing how long it would last, I am going to switch over to a turbo.
