2022 Yamaha FX Fuel Alarm/Used Update

I decided to call me dealer yesterday and see if there has been a fix for the 2022 FX fuel alarm/used issue. He did not know of any so he called his regional Yamaha Rep to get an update. After talking with him today there is not an update for the 2022. So for shits and giggles I called Yamaha Customer support. She confirmed again that they are aware of the issue and working towards a software fix. No ETA was mentioned. But what was interesting she said they did some hardware/parts tweaks to the 2023 so they would NOT have this issue. It would be interesting to see if any new 2023 owners are having the same issue.

wow, thanks for the legwork! I also would love to know about the 2023s...Anyone have their 23 out on the water yet? From what I heard, they started showing up in the dealerships late 2022.

A friend of mine just sold her brand new FX SVHO because of this and also the fuel usage resetting after the engine was shut off.Went to Sea Doo instead. Also one her friends has started proceeding with Fair Trading in Australia, because it is a known problem

Fantastic to hear!!! I have been looking at Kawasaki, but so hard to get.
