I have a new to me 2012 VXR 1.8L that is running hot after about a mile of running. Took the thermostat out and it seemed to take a little longer to start running hot but it did. I removed the anode and this is what it looked like.

Based on the condition of this anode what is probably that the water jackets around the cylinders are more than likely clogged with calcium.
This was a saltwater ski prior to me. The engine still turns 7400 and runs 62 on the gps with an all stock air box and muffler so do believe it's worth saving.
What is the forums thoughts?
