my brother in law has 2 160f 's love riding them, i grew up riding 440/550's i think the 310s are finally up to snuff now but worry about the issues with the 310 motor- i put 380 HARD hrs on my svho and still had factory compression and a clutch that lasted 250hrs im not seeing that with the 310's, but the 160's are awesome!

I was at my dealer yesterday. He had a good number of new Yamaha's and Seadoos on the display floor but he said most of the ones on the floor are already sold. He is concerned because he is waiting for Yamaha to tell him how many of the Waverunners they will cut from his order.

Even if production gets back to normal the current prices are here to stay.

The local dealer has 2022 Seadoos and Yamahas. The market is definitely slowing. It is comical to see the used market for PWCs right now. Many local ads have used skis THOUSANDS more than brand new skis.
"I paid $28k last year. My loss is your gain." LOL

Dear Yamaha WaveRunner Dealer,

We have been building MY23 WaveRunner production since our August introduction, and we have made every effort to fill your orders according to our production plan. Unfortunately, our suppliers continue to fall short of our production needs and we will be unable to fill some MY23 WaveRunners remaining on order.

We will be removing these WaveRunners from YDS in the coming days. You will be able to see your cuts there. It will impact most WaveRunner models.

The models that we plan to fill will remain in YDS.

We continue to work with all of our strategic suppliers, and they hope to resolve most supply chain issues by Q3, 2023.

Looks like 2024 model year Yamaha Waverunner production will not be constrained, and 2023 should be the last model year of shortage.

Unclear the degree of production shortfall for 2023.

I suppose eventually we shall learn what proportion of 2023 dealer orders could not be fulfilled

March 7, 2023, Yamaha press release states that they cannot fulfill all of the dealer orders for YM23.
They cited supply chain issues.
These cuts will affect all Waverunner models.

Used market prices are way down compared to same time last couple years.

I was at my dealer today. He said he ordered a total of 50 units for his summer inventory. He has gotten 13 of them. Luckily somehow one of them was mine. I picked up my 2023 FX SVHO limited today
