    15-20 minutes is longer than my typical experience with stock 2017 SVHO tune, but otherwise the symptoms should similar to this thread;

    I have a 2022 FX HO and my issue is that every once in a while I'll go to hit the start button and it'll just keep cranking and no start. I'll stop, try again, and it'll crank for a bit and then sputter to start. The WaveRunner runs fine otherwise. This issue has been around since the beginning of ownership. This has always

    Try running with the seat off and see if your RPM’s come
    up higher. Shut off the ski and see if it re starts normally with the seat off.

    I highly recommend either the Worx or Riva rear exhaust kit. Stay away from the free flow exhaust as the drone will drive you nuts 😁
    I stated that I have a through the hull exhaust. It is the Riva kit. There is no exhaust leak in the hull. I have ridden the ski with the seat off after the ski was hot and the same thing happens. I have to let the ski cool down for 15-20 minutes with the seat off before it will start up. It will spin over but it will never fire until after it cools down.

    Ski has a stage one Riva flash, ribbon delete kit, air filter delete kit, through hull exhaust, Riva blow off valve.

    No, I don't think that is it. I have an AGM battery on it, and it spins it over pretty fast.

    I recently had the same issue with my 2017 GP1800, it turned out to be the starter, which was cranking over more slowly than normal. I pulled the starter, took it apart and discovered corrosion on the brush holder Assy, part # 6S5-81840-00-00. Once rebuilt I had no issues starting the ski. If you've ever submerged the starter there's a chance of moisture inside.
