Oil temp sensor install !?

You can T off the oil pressure switch but not going to have a lot of flow as the sensor is dead headed.

Apologies if this has been posted somewhere already..

I have SVHO mounted in a mini boat, as you guys know we run these into some nasty spots(sandy/muddy rivers) with that being said has anyone installed an oil temp gauge/ sensor onto one of these before?

I would like to be able to watch oil temperature in real time. Maybe I’m a bit anal but I’m thinking this would be beneficial in catching a problem early( blockages /plugs) specially up river.
