  • 23 Fx Svho Solas 13/18

Good afternoon everyone! I did a search and really didn't find what I was looking for. So here we go. I just bought a new 23 FX SVHO Cruiser. I haven't even done the break in yet on this thing. I already put a Worx air intake, Riva ribbon delete and Maptunerx. I'm probably gonna go with the 1+ tune. The question that I have is, is the Solas 13/18 worth it? I know, probably a ridiculous question lol!

The Solas 13/18 is absolutely worth it. While you're at it, add the RIVA ride plate and intake grate. All three make a huge difference.

Will the 13/18 hurt a stock ski's top end? (looking for better holeshot)

Yes, the engine will run on the rev limiter. The 13/18 is only to be used on a tuned ski.

I just finished the mechanical install of a 2018 FXSVHO STABE 2, minus the seal kit on the bottom.

I have the upgraded intake grate. I’m gonna lift the ski on a friend lift to install the kit for the ride plate .

what’s the advantage of the ride plate. I tend to upgrade when opportune.

The Riva ride plate is a must have on these skis. The stock plate is holding you back. You will see a speed gain with the Riva plate and much better handling and hookup.

I just got the 23 limited. Looks like I need to get a new ride plate. I am going to leave the impeller stock for now I think.

If you reflash the ECU to to remove the speed limiter then the Solas impeller and the ride plate is a must have! All of these items are included in the stage 1 plus kit

I bought all of these parts for my new 2023 limited. I may start installing them today. I bought the 13/20 impeller to keep the RPMs down a bit so I can stay under 8000.

I will be curious how you like the 13/20 and if you pick up any speed or acceleration. How is your FX's cavitation?

I’ve been going over the Riva site looking for a ride plate for the 2018 FXSVHO. I’ve found the sponsons, however no the plate.

Can you point me in the right direction.
                          buy ya a beer.?.

I believe the same plate fits the 2018 and older FX as well as the 2019+

I think it’s 12-18 skis. Then 19+, they call out different. They just didn’t have a plate for 12-18 on their site that I found.

I guess I should send a note to Riva asking for surety.

                              Thank you.
