I just purchased the 23 SVHO limited. Should I change out the ride plate with the RIVA 22+ ? Or leave it stock? I have yet to put it in water.

Absolutely! I think every FX needs the RIVA ride plate, intake grate, and sponsons. Having all three installed surprised me and made the handling of the ski incredible.

How much does the Riva grate differ from the stock one? It’s the only bolt on part I dont have so far. They appear similar in design other than the center bar on the OEM grate.

I can’t answer that. My ski hasn’t seen water yet. But anyone who has tested the riva plate says its 2 mph better and better handling. Here are the 2 plates next to each other. Big difference between the 2.

Seems the riva plate has a little more angle to it as well. Here’s the 2 plates back to back. By appearances, the Riva plate should be better all around

Cheers man. I have shims in the oem plate and it feels good, you can actually feel the bow sitting higher in the water. I got a quick blast to about 72-73 with no porposing. Conditions were less than ideal so roll on the better weather to get it dialled in

I will pick up a intake grate for sure.
