My 2018 GP1800 is Riva Stage 3 with around 70 hours on it. It's always run good. After my last ride in November I changed the oil and put new plugs and started it on the hose. I didn't think it would be out of the water long enough to worry about the Gas. I pulled it out about three weeks ago and siphoned out the gas and put in 10 fresh gallons of 93. It wouldn't start, and it only displayed a check engine light. Last year I had a throttle body error code that rectified itself by unplugging the TB cable and repluging. this time i rang out the throttle body and it was fine. For shits and grins, I put in new plugs, no change. next, I rang out the coils and checked them for spark with a spark plug tester, all was good, so I put the injectors on a tester and they sprayed fine, so I cleaned them while they were out. next, I put the fuel line to the injector rail in a bottle and turned it over, I had plenty of fuel delivery. I then pulled the air hose coming out of the intercooler and tried to crank thinking I might have an air blockage, still no go. Next, I plugged in a CandooPro and read all the voltage values for the throttle body and the throttle lever, all is in tolerance. While the ECU was powered up, i checked the throttle blade and it was indeed opening and closing with the throttle. So, I've tested fuel, are and fire. The timing on the Candoo was BTDC 9.9 Degrees while attempting to crank I don't know what it should be. What's next? No Codes, but has a check engine and the battery is at 12.5 or so as I keep it on a tender. Any suggestions?

No code(s) yet it is showing the Check Engine indicator?
Use the remote fob to Lock, then UNlock the security mode.
Sometimes the remote controlled security module (which is connected to the ECU) can get into a funk where it is neither locked nor unlocked, and it will prevent engine start. Cycling the Lock, Unlock sequence often solves the problem👍 1 -

I'm getting no where with this ski. the last thing I've done was tested injector pulses with a Noid light and they all appear to be present. could i have a bad ground? where is the engine ground on these and how would I test it? Help! The week after next, I'm having some eye surgery, so I will be down for a couple weeks. I'd heal faster knowing my ski runs.Comment

Hey for shits n giggles try this and see if it fires..
install kill switch---
hit and hold start button -Now WITHOUT letting go of start button-- pull lanyard out (still holding start button down) now reinsert lanyard and it should crank and hopefully fire up..
I play with and service about 75-100 ski a year and every once in a while I have to try this "trick" to get them fired up-- Very Weird..
Good luckComment
