I've worked on some pretty messed up skis but this one undoubtedly tops them all. It is so badly put together that it is hard to say what exactly caused the engine to let go. It was already on it's second engine due to a dealer mistake and on top of that the Stage 3 kit could not have been put together any worse...I am just lucky enough to be able to fix this nightmare
I think it was caused by the T-fitting for the added supercharger oil line(could have been numerous other mistakes or a combination of them all) because it was not even close to hand tight. Chances are it blew the oil out of it and caused the failure. The moral of this story is to only let someone work on your ski that is highly experienced and won't cost you more time and money in the long run! A lot of these performance kits are designed for ease of install but other kits should be left for skilled individuals to install.
